1. Account Registration

To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account using your email address, Google, or Apple accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and represent that all information provided is accurate.

2. Billing & Subscriptions

cvitae offers both a Free ad-supported tier and a paid monthly Pro subscription tier (R59.99/mo).

• **Payments**: Subscriptions are processed on a recurring basis via our partner Payfast.
• **Cancellation**: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain Pro until the end of the current billing cycle, after which it will revert to the Free tier.
• **Refunds**: Recurring billing fees are generally non-refundable unless required by local consumer legislation.

3. User Content and License

You retain ownership of all text, documents, information, and photos you upload or create on cvitae ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant cvitae a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process that content solely to provide the services (such as displaying your public CV link).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or misleading (such as writing fraudulent qualifications on your CV). cvitae reserves the right to suspend accounts that abuse our platform resources or violate these guidelines.
